While we’re waiting for his completed projects to be released, we can also look forward to speculating about Kivanc Tatlitug’s new project. The father-to-be is not wasting any time. No sooner did he finish a Netflix series and a movie, than he was offered in a role for a new movie to be directed by Onur Saylak. For you Carpisma aficionados, he played Veli Cevher, Kadir Adali’s frenemy.
It turns out that Onur isn’t just a talented actor, but he’s also a very talented director, writer and producer. If you don’t believe me, check out his accomplishments on IMDB and here. According to industry sources, this new movie is a collaboration between Saylak and screenwriter, Hakan Gunday, whose previous work with Saylak on Daha and Persona (Sahsiyet) has won international acclaim.
It’s early days yet, but the lead actor and his counterpart have already been identified. Kivanc Tatlitug is reportedly slotted for the leading role, to be accompanied by Funda Eryiğit, whose recent role in the Netflix series Ethos has solidified her as a strong and versatile actress. Dizi lovers may be familiar with her in her role as Canan in the popular series, Son Yaz, and as the Mafia princess, Belgin in the classic series, Karadayi.
The movie, which still has not been named, is an Ay Yapim production that will be streamed on Netflix.
This is all we know about the project so far, but we’ll be following the progress closely and we’ll update with credible information as soon as we can.
