Netflix has announced its new cast for the second season of the Belgian series Into The Night . There is a surprise addition from Turkey, Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, one of Turkey’s most successful actors, is a guest in the new season of the series.
Having a very colorful cast from many countries such as Belgium, France, Turkey, Germany, Poland, Italy and Russia in its first season, the series further expanded its international appeal with the participation of Tatlıtuğ.
Written and brought to life by Jason George (Narcos, The Blacklist), Into The Night is produced by Jason George and Tomek Bagiński (The Witcher, The Cathedral). The second season of Into The Night is entrusted to Belgian director Nabil Ben Yadir ( Les Barons, La Marche and Dode Hoek ) and French director Camille Delamarre ( Balthazar, The Way, Last Call ).
Belgian director Nabil Ben Yadir stated: “ I was very impressed with the successful acting and the harmony created by different languages in Into the Night . It has been a tremendous synergy and a great job as talented players from all over Europe bring their experience and culture to the fore. Although French, Arabic, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Russian, Turkish, English and Polish were spoken on set, we actually spoke a common language and understood each other very well. Being in the director’s chair of this team brought together by different cultures was a unique and enriching experience for me. I am grateful for every moment.”
ABOUT INTO THE NIGHT SEASON 2: At the end of the first season, our Flight 21 passengers found an underground former Soviet military bunker in Bulgaria to hide from the sun, but unfortunately their respite is cut short when an accident threatens their food supply. Suddenly forced to resurface, the team desperately resumes their fight for survival and is forced to travel to the Global Seed Vault in Norway. However, this idea did not just occur to them… In order to obtain more food, the group has to split up, get along with the military team, and make various sacrifices in this race against time.

It is interesting to point out that Kivanc new Netflix show Bir Denizaltı Hikayesi “A submarine story” is a spin off of “Into the night”.
Just finished season one and loved it. They’ve killed off several characters but I’m assuming Arman will survive if there is a spin-off. Guessing Arman is Kivanc’s character??
Yes, Arman is Kivanc’s character in the submarine story. He only appears as a guest on season 2 of “Into the night” therefore he’ll definitely survive 🙂

How disappointing to discover that Kivanc will be only a guest star. From my experience, that means maybe one or two episodes? Then a long wait until Netflix allows the spinoff, “The Submarine Story”, to be released? Can we find out how many episodes are in the new season of Into The Night and which episodes contain Kivanc? Thanks for keeping us up to date.
Actually, you should look at the bright side! The news weren’t disappointing but rather a nice surprise since no one was expecting him to appear in Into the night. I strongly doubt his “appearance” will be significant, I tend to think it’ll be one or maybe a few contacts (calls or video transmissions) between the bunker and the submarine. That will serve as a nice way to introduce “A submarine story” the spinoff as well as Arman.
What does it mean that he is a guest star? Does he only play a short part of the story? I’ve been so looking forward to finally seeing him act again, it would be sad if he’s not in the entire show! Also, his character’s name is left blank.
He probably plays a short part in “Into the night” but he has the lead role in “A submarine story” which is a spinoff of “Into the night”. Therefore, we’ll get to see him in both shows as Arman. He will also start filming a movie (see our previous post) in September.
